ROFR question

When Disney exercised the ROFR, do they notify the seller directly or the agency that is selling the property?

I sold a contract and received a letter from Disney stating they were taking the contract. But by the time I had received it, the resale agency had already let me know that it had been ROFRed. Not sure if the agency had been officially told but they knew.
