ROFR for BWV????

Anything under $73 probably won't pass.

We passed Rofr at BWV for $71 a point with us paying all 2004 mf's (since we have a Dec UY and got all of the 350 points) and closing. There were 26 points banked.

We originally tried to buy a 150 point contract with UY of Oct at $72/pt. This however was immediately Rofr'd by Disney. Luckily we were able to counter at $75/pt and this was accepted. Talking to Jaki, it seems that $74-75 is the going rate for now...

We just passed ROFR at $75/point BWV, we paid MF on existing points and closing. We actually offered $1 more per point for "peace of mind" since we had lost two previous contracts and this one was a June u/y (desirable IMHO). I do think, however, that you'll pass at $74/point if you pay closing and MFs on existing available points!

We're waiting on ROFR on a VWL contract. Our realtor told us that we would have a 50/50 shot at $72.00 per point, but that she has only had ONE contract ROFR'd at $73.00 (and, yes...that WAS Amybeth's contract!!!) So, we offered $73...and, only time will tell!!!

I think $74 is probably a "sure thing", but odds are probably very good on $73 as well. Just like on this thread...people are still getting through at $71-$72. Our realtor's "new theory" is that DVC is servicing different resorts and different UY's at different times. If you search back on the threads about a week, there was a ROFR thread started by Carlos, which pretty much showed that MOST people getting ROFR'd were April UY, and OKW seemed to get taken a lot. Our realtor thought DVC was "clearing out a long wait list". I think....if DVC wants your UY, and you are on the "edge"...they'll take it. If not, you will be fine. I think you have to get in the mindset that if one gets taken, you just get to go shopping again!!!
