Rodeway inn question

Has anyone stayed at the Rodeway Inn on International Dr? We need somewhere cheap but nice to stay a couple of nights until we check into the Contemporary ... We plan on going to Universal and Seaworld those days so we want to stay near those parks.. If anyone knows of somewhere else that is really inexpensive and hopefully includes breakfast I would GREATTTTTTTTLLLLLLLLY appreciate it

We like to fly down and stay at an inexpensive hotel before launching into commando mode and tried this hotel last December. We found the accomodations acceptable but really did not use the hotel for more than the room. We had a room with a microwave and refrigerator. I had to put down 20.00 for use of the room telephone to be on which I found odd.

When I checked out the next day, I was surprised to see coffee & OJ, blueberry & banana nut wrapped cake-things ( they do advertise free continental breakfast). I wouldn't really call it breakfast but I appreciated the coffee. Kids stay and eat FREE Program at IHOP and Shoney's. I believe I paid about 32.00 for the deluxe room and the regular room was 28.00 or so at the time. I did book the room through Dreams Unlimited Travel.

I stayed here a few years ago. It was one of the cheaper hotels on I-Drive. I found the room to be OK, although the furniture looked like it was out of the 1970s!

I stayed at a few cheap hotels where they charged a $5 deposit to turn on the phone. How weird is that? What happens if you need to call 911? Thankfully, I now have a cellphone.

Thanks for all the reply's I booked the Holiday Inn Express 2141 International Dr for $39.00 per night including a NICE continental breakfast.. Ya get what you pay for in soooooooo true!!! so don't let saving a few dollars ruin your vacation....
