Hi everyone!
I will be staying at the Rodeway Inn Maingate this summer with my friends while we visit Walt Disney World for the first time. Apparently there are different buildings in the hotel and some of the buildings are in better shape than others. Can someone please tell me which ones are nicer so that I know which ones to ask for and which to stay away from? Thank you so much!!

PS Sorry if this is in the wrong place or if anything is wrong. This is my first post on here.

I'm thinking of trying this place too, so hopefully someone can let us know.

Are you thinking about it? If we go this year, that's where we'll stay.

I will be staying at the Rodeway Inn Maingate the first week in November with my Family. I reserved a pool facing room.

I have stayed here twice. Both times were just for one night. Cant beat the rate. It was $25/night with mom's senior discount.

We stayed in the rooms on the side of the building by the check in area. The rooms were clean and basic. The beds were small and very firm. The bathroom area was clean. All in all it was ok and served our needs: a clean place to sleep and shower.

Our stays were Aug 2013 and Oct 2012.

Sounds like my kind of place. We stayed at the Knights Inn a few years back and I would not have wanted to stay there more than the one night. But this place seems to get much better reviews.

If looking for something cheap we liked Seralgo Resort. It was cheap but comfortable. We stayed there 3 separate times. Usually 1 day before going into Disney and 1 day after but every time it was fine. clean, everything worked. one of the few budget places that has a microwave

What are the rates? How far from property?

Last time if memory serves we paid about $40 per night. It is right on 192 beside Old Town. Maybe 3 miles max to Disney.

It is a large resort. Has 2 large pools, covered hot tub, pool bar, arcade.

I now see they are charging a "Resort Fee" which I really don't know what that means, probably for bus service to the parks. I don't like that idea too much.

I am typing this at the Rodeway right now. This is my 3rd stay here and I love it. The rooms are very basic and cost a few $ extra if you want a fridge/microwave and/or poolside view. I'm always on a budget and go for the cheapest available, which can range from $25-$37/night. There's a RaceTrac and Waffle House basically in the parking lot, so cheap food and gas is readily available.

The LOCATION IS THE BEST. Easy right turn onto 192 and you're at the south end of World Drive in minutes. On the way back, there's a shortcut by taking Osceola Parkway east by Gaylord and turning south on International Drive. From there, it's two quick & easy right turns into the hotel while eliminating traffic lights on 192. I've stayed at nice hotels for more up at State Road 535, but traffic is a nightmare in that area. This hotel not only saves me money, but a TON of time in traffic. I can be inside a park or back at the room in 30-45 minutes. I-4 is also just a mile away for other attractions.

Highly recommend this hotel for anyone that just needs a place to sleep and quick access to almost any attraction.

Thanks for posting! Do you remember what they had for breakfast?
