Hi, does anyone have a recommendation for a reliable, reasonable company from which to rent a rocking chair while at Disney World?

Staying at Bay Lake Tower in 2 bedroom suite.

A simple old fashioned wood rocking chair (preferably with a chair pad for seat and back) would be sufficient.

Thanks!

I don't know anyplace that would rent an adult chair other than a wheelchair short-term.

We did find that we wanted a rocking chair for travel when DD was little to help get her to sleep, at least for driving trips. We bought a compact-fold rocker from Bass Pro for those. http://www.basspro.com/Bass-Pro-Shops-Folding-Rocker/product/1304051038/

On trips where we flew, we simply sat on the floor cross-legged and rocked back and forth. It's not easy on the back, but at Disney, anyway, it wouldn't take more than a few minutes to knock out a tired child.

Now if you need it for a back problem, I'm not sure what I could advise; a battery-operated lumbar support cushion, perhaps?

I am pretty sure A Baby's Best Friend does. We rented a swing from them when ds was 5 months old as that's all he would sleep in back then. Try them.

Just wanted to clarify I know you're asking for rockers and I think they have them. Mentioned the swing just as background! Good luck.

We used A Baby's Best Friend a few years ago. We rented a crib and a wooden rocking chair. They were both fine. Did the trick.. :) Good luck!
