Rockettes with taped music???

Just wondering if anyone has seen the show this year, since it started last week with the musicians on strike. How is it with the taped music compared to the live orchestra???
We go to the show on the 13th of this month and wondering what to expect....are they still picketing in front of Radio City Music Hall????

I hope you will get an answer from someone who has seen the show with the taped music, but the times we have gone, I don't think it would have made a difference. The orchestra is down below where you can't see them, and I would assume they have good quality recordings to play. The show is a lot of fun--Enjoy it!

I didn't go personally but a good friend of mine went on opening day with the taped music and she said it was great.......she got interviewed for a newspaper too......I'm not sure if the picketing is still going on, but based on the review I heard you're still in for a great performance !

We're going on the 13th - I feel bad to cross a picket line - if they are picketing.. I was hoping it would be settled by then, I like "live" music.

How many people are you traveling with? Do you want a kid-friendly restaurant? What type of cuisine do you like? We need some more info before giving a recommendation.
