Rock of Ages???

my mil just gave dh and I tickets to this. DH is fired up about it, but I'm not so sure. has anybody seen it? is it any good?

I have seen it twice on Broadway and would go again in a heartbeat! Loved it. Now, it's not serious Broadway theater so keep that in mind! It's 80's music and it's funny and a lot of fun! Enjoy and let me know what you think!


BTW, it's in my top 3 Broadway shows....Jersey Boys, Les Mis and Rock of Ages.

I've seen it twice and it's lots of fun. Definitely not a serious Broadway musical, but it's great for letting down your (big) hair, putting on your acid-wash jeans and reliving your 1980's glory days!

Broadway fanatic here...and it is really awesome. I saw Rock of Ages recently and it was such a blast. Mind you it's my "time period" in terms of high school...so I totally related to just about every aspect of the show. It's campy, not meant to be taken seriously at all, just go have a blast.

It's a really fun show. I've seen it twice. The first time was by myself on a whim and I thought it was just ok, but the second time was for my 21st birthday with three of my friends.... let's just say it is WAY more fun with a group of people and adult beverages HAHA

yep, we saw constantine. I have never watched ai, so don't really know who he is, but he was really amazing!

the couple in front of us did some shows with him when he was local and they were so tickled to see him perform last night. he even got them the tickets and gave them a nod when he was on stage.

the one thing that really stunned me about the show was how many people were up and down while the show was still on. I was shocked. although I suppose if you are going to sell beer in the aisles, you have to expect a few extra bathroom trips from the audience.
