If anybody is thinking about running the Rock n Roll New Orleans full or half marathon March 4th, today is the day to sign up.

With the SAINTSWIN promotion code, you get a $1 a point discount from noon to midnight the day following the game. The Saints beat the Colts by 55 points last night so the discount for the next few hours is $55. (Prices also increase on the 31st.)

Competitor set at a single day record with 7,000 people signing up for next March's events on Monday! Interesting how they now limit the discount to a max of $21 regardless of the outcome.

hah - that's kinda funny they set a cap on it.

i ran the half last year and had a lot of fun (ok, maybe tooo much fun beforehand). but the weather was so great and the course was so easy i still set a 5 minute pr though. i was a little unimpressed by the bands on the course - there didn't seem like there was any more entertainment than any other large race. was glad i had my ipod

i would still love to come back for the full one day - especially if i was ever on the cusp of bqing
