The day started with a rough chest that i picked up before we left (No jokes about Jordan please) When we woke up, we unpacked the clothes and realised that we were missing quite a valuable external DVD Writer that we had brought over for Sarah's Grandad, this was not good. I checked on the Thomson site and discovered that you must write within 7 days to an address in the UK-regarding any lost baggage and pilfering Thats a load of good when you are abroad----cheap carriers i suppose.
Just before dinner we visited the Grandfather in Laws house which is just 200 yds away from the Mother in Laws and advised him of the stolen item. For dinner we visited the Leon Astur Belgium bar for Sausage Chips and Egg all round- I can never be accused of not throwing myself into the culture when I visit Spain.
Whilst sat sat at the table I looked over to the next and i saw an Angel singing to me-- Well maybe not an Angel but a full glass of Leffe Bruin (Dark) OMG this beer is so beautiful, i had had some of the blonde in York on a weekend away. Mmmmm 2.50 Euros a bottle is not cheap but at 6.5% proof it packs a wallop.
Temperature today is 19 degrees and it is lovely and sunny.
Toerrevieja is blessed with an awesome climate, it is very very dry, I have been now every year to visit the in laws for 7 years and i have witnessed rain twice!!! Here is a little more Info about the area.
We had tea at home, got the brat... erm kids to bed and went out for a drink leaving the Grandmother in charge. Now I aint a dumb lad, i read alot and i take notice of things around me but over the last few years me and quiz nights have not worked. So when we arrived at Bar El Gordos and offered the entry into the quiz I refused. We left after the first round but I got 17 of the 20 correct and would have been winning....As Homer says D'oh...
