Robot Birthday

My daughter wants a robot themed party for her 4th birthday. She loves the robots from Wall-E and Star Wars and wants all robots to be included in the party instead of concentrating on 1 movie. We will have plates, napkins etc. from both movies.

So, I'm stumped on how to do the cake. With a "Galactic Robot" themed party I guess the cake could look like outer space. Both sets of plates have lots of dark blues in them. But I am stumped on how to make the party congruent.

Any cake decor ideas???? Any other robot party tips?

My son absolutely adores robots, has for years. For the cake, you could use any type of cake, but decorate it with a robot. WALL-E is quite easy really. My son had a particular one that he liked that I drew/decorated on his cake. If you're unsure of your ability, get a coloring book page of him and practice drawing it a few times.

We played "pin the gauge on the robot" - again, if using WALL-E, maybe you could "pin the fire extinguisher" on him. You can do robot dancing, draw robot pictures, even make robot costumes if you're so inclined. If you have the WALL-E movie, you could watch the BERN-E short from the extras.
