Robin Hood on BBC America, A question.

My family love the new series on BBC America.
I was checking out the website BBC, I got all the info. for all the episodes this season and next. While on the BBC America Site al lthey show is this seasons.

So here is my question, Has Robin hood already been shown in UK, both seasons? And they are just showing it here now?

We love BBC America. DD5, DS2 and I love How clean is your house

We have only seen season 1 so far which finished at the end of December if I remember correctly

I think Season 2 is currently being filmed and is likely to be shown in the Autumn.

was just wondering, I love BBC America. I like almost every program. Silent witness, is really good.

Just wasnt sure if a show is aired first there then sent to BBC America.

That's usually the case, although BBC America does license shows from other channels over here. For example the BBC do not show either of Gordon Ramsays programmes in the UK but does show them under the BBC America banner.

Personally I am a big fan of the BBC so I can see why you love BBC America

We have both shows but on a different non BBC channel.

Effectively in the UK we have 5 non-cable, non-satellite channels which are..

BBC One
BBC Two
ITV
Channel 4
Channel 5

Both of Gordon Ramsay's shows are on Channel 4 over here but are purchased by the BBC to show on BBC America as the other Channels have no overseas broadcasting arm.
