Hi all,
I have not posted for a few weeks as have had some family problems :sad1: but I am now back on track planning for my trip in October .
Mum and I were discussing the room at the DLH and remember reading somewhere that you get robes and slippers is this right or is that only the suites? also remember reading that they got to keep them is this true?

Thanks guys.

oooooh just remember must do my PTR

Welcome back hun!

Having never stayed in the pink palace :cloud9: I can't help with any of your questions!!! :rotfl:

How many sleeps...?!

Thanks hun
30 more sleeps..... ooo that sounds like forever we will say 4 weeks on Monday it sounds better, altho i was told it's only 14 weeks until Christmas, that's scary, better add Christmas presents to my must do's at dlrp lol :lmao:

Yes, robes and slippers in standard rooms, I think only two sets though.

Thanks :thumbsup2
As there are 3 adults going do you know if we can request another set?

We had them too but like Julie said it just seems to be two per room as my DDs only had two sets in their room, even though they were booked in as three adults. I'm sure if you phone for more they'll provide them. Ours were massive, I could have wrapped at least three of me in the robe and and I didn't bother with the slippers as they were huge too. Unfortunately they no longer have the embroidered logo on them but are just plain white. They'll expect you to take the slippers (no one wants to wear second hand ones lol ) but not the robes, I guess that's the reason they've stopped the embroidered ones. :sad2:

I don't know if you've ever seen this lovely website on the DLH here, in it the author writes it used to be possible to buy the embroidered robes from housekeeping so maybe it still is. We did see some robes in the DLH shop but although they did have a logo I don't think it was the DLH one. Also they weren't very fluffy, we've bought much nicer robes from the Disney Store over here and even better they're always half-price after Christmas!

Only four weeks to go? Soon be here!! :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

Are you starting to get a teensy weensy bit excited?

You used to be able to buy the robes... I stayed in the castle club several years ago and ended up buying two robes embroidered with our names! They were far from cheap - in the region of £100 each i think. Very good quality though - i still have mine!

Thanks for all the help, I don't think I will be spending £100 on a dressing gown as much as I would love a DLH one i think DH may not be happy with me, he moaned when i spent £30 on my pink fluffy next one :rotfl2:
