Roberta & Marc's Memories wedding 10/8/11

I can't believe in 8 more days we will arrive at the GF and the day after will be tying the knot at the happiest place on earth! :goodvibes I've got just about everything done except the packing. I have my bags out and the dogs are quite unhappy about that. I scooped up they're food last night. My friend who doggie sits them likes it best when I use snack sized ziplock bags with individual servings. Sounds silly, I know, but you have to consider that I mix up 3 kinds of dry dog food and this way she doesn't have to be concerned with mixing the food up. That and I know they get the right food in the right portions. :dance3:

I finished making my veil. I think it turned out nice. I'm not 100% sure that I'll where it... I told DF that he can make the final call on it when I'm all dressed up. I can go either way on the veil - but I just don't know if I'll feel like a bride without it.

I also finished my clutch. I made a clutch using duponi silk - it turned out beautiful. I put a carved shell brooch on it with some tulle.

The announcements are all addressed, stuffed, stamped and sealed. They turned out really great. Very fun... Just like our kind of sorta elopement. I guess that's the best way to describe it as we have no guests.

Nice to know about adapting meals - I have quite a few food allergies and some restaurants are not easy to deal with. We had reservations at Kona Cafe last year and the waitress was down right nasty about it. I'm allergic to mangos, pineapple, bananas and nuts. Basically everything they serve it seems. We ended up just leaving without eating. We had eaten there the year before and they were very accommodating, but not that day! That's why we chose to stay at the GF instead of the Poly, as I didnt want dining to be as much of an issue.

Ahhhh my allergy twin!!! :lmao: :rotfl:

I'm allergic to tree nuts and coconut which everyone is pretty good with--my throat will close up so I'm very very careful about these.

I only have a skin allergy to tomatoes, and strawberries so I tend to push my limits with them and keep a benedryl close by, lol. I love tomatoes and strawberries and will most of the time risk hives for them, lol.

Pineapples can hit me on skin or in my throat... it just depends. I find if it's a fruit salad that's drenched in pineapple juice than I get really sick..... but if it's a marinade that it's just an ingredient in... I may just get a little rash, or nothing at all. Funny how all that works.

WDW is soooooooo good with this!! Ohana makes the most fantastic hot fudge brownie sundae for us Coconut people :) It's pretty much my favorite dessert on property!!

Anyhoo... we're getting very very close!!
