Robeez has Disney Designs!!!

I just had to share...
I got the latest email from Robeez.com and they have (finally) teamed up with Disney!! This first group is all Pooh & Friends and they are too cute! I'm hoping they have different ones coming out soon!!

Of course, Robeez so this right after I bought DD her first "real" pair of shoes. Oh well!

They have them at the Disney Stores (you know the brick & morter stores bought by Children's Place). They're not Robeez brand but they have lots of variety, though no princess, for $15.00.

I hope Robeez comes out with more.

I just bought the Donal Duck ones for my ds. He is already walking (10 months old!) and has regular shoes but I love Robeez type shoes. They are very good for their feet. My dd even wore then until she was about 2. She also had regular shoes but sometimes she wore the Robeez.

I saw them on the website. I was disappointed that they only have the Winnie the Pooh characters (although the piglet design was so cute!).
But $32 is a bit steep! I love Robeez, though, it's all my dd wears

My DD still wears her ROBEEZ unless its raining or we're going into the woods or something. I've started a trend at her daycare. Lucky for me, her current ROBEEZ are starting to wear after 6 months, so maybe I'll be forced to buy her those cute piglet ones.

They have all different ones at the Disney Store. They are 14.99 a pair. They are not Robeez brand, but I have bought Robeez and many other brands and while some leathers are thinner than RObeez, they have all held up really well. I will probably go back and get a few more pairs as gifts for Christmas!

I have 2 questions:

#1 Can you buy these new Disney Robeez at the park?

#2 Can toddlers wear Robeez instead of regular shoes in the parks?

1. I don't know if they sell Robeez in WDW. I can usually find them at Stride Rite or Nordstrom.

2. They have soft leather soles and no real support. They are supposed to for light outdoor use. I'm planning on DD wearing her's in the airport and plane because it's easier to go through security the her others. But she's going to be wearing hard soled "tennis" shoes in the parks. I guess it all depends on how sensitive your child's feet are.

Thanks - My DS is almost 16 months old and still not walking yet He also has a foot condition where his toes are growing inward so he is pigeoned toed. He also has a very wide foot so all this combined makes it very difficult to find shoes for him. We just saw a pediatric specialist who basically told us that once he starts walking, eventually his toes should straighten out (but he has to start walking!!!!) When I asked the doctor about shoes, since it is so hard to find them, he replied just don't have him wear shoes. We have been doing this all summer at home but I did read somewhere on these boards that he will NEED to wear shoes in the park. We leave on Sunday so now I am searching for shoes that I can get on his feet. We do have sandles that velcro around his feet but he just unvelcros them and takes them off....

I feel your pain!! DD is almost 18 months and not really walking on her own yet. Robeez should be great for you then in your situation. Our PT recommended Robeez for DD so she could still have that "bare foot" feeling when walking with protection on those little feet. Now we're in Stride Rite's for added stability in her base. The Robeez are hard for the kiddo's to take off.

Your DS's condition sounds very similar to what my DB went through when he was a baby. Now he's walks great, nice & straight while I'm the klutzy one! I hope everything works out for your little one!!

He's pretty big -- 32 lbs -- and getting too much to carry all day! I just checked out those Robeez and they are adorable. My Ped also recommends no shoes until he walks so I think they'd be perfect in the parks and once the weather gets cooler. Thanks for posting!

I think we need a support thread for late walkers I know it has been a great concern of mine... When we planned this Disney trip, I was certain that DS would be walking WELL by now... DD took off right on schedule at a week after her first birthday. By 16 months she was climbing up & down the stairs by herself. Oh well, the say every baby is different and I am experiencing that first hand now that I have two in so many ways.... LOL

My 18 month twin girls have some of the Target Circo brand "Robeez." The only true Robeez they have are ones I've picked up for $1 at a thrift shop. I'll have to keep my eyes out for some of the Disney ones! Thanks for the tip!

DD took off right on schedule at a week after her first birthday. By 16 months she was climbing up & down the stairs by herself. Oh well, the say every baby is different and I am experiencing that first hand now that I have two in so many ways.... LOL

I thought the same thing when planning this trip! Instead of buying new shoes for our vacation I just spend a ton of money on a new hip carrier so I won't be killing my back holding him in lines!
My other 3 were walking by their 1st bdays -- this guy is throwing me for a loop!

I suppose it has to do with being the youngest child too.

My almost 3year old keeps kicking his shoes off when in the stroller. I am thinking about getting him a pair for the airport and when riding in the stroller so we don't have to play find Teddy's tennies.

My DDs have worn their Robeez all throughout DL and DCA NUMEROUS times. I wouldn't do it with an "imitation" brand with not as sturdy soles, but my kids wore theirs all the time- to the park, DL, anywhere. It's all my 21 month old wears till it cools off some.

I bought the Minney ones for dd14 months and they wore through on the sole in about 2 days. They didn't toughen and seal like Robeez. These would be good for indoor slippers...but don't hold up for older toddlers who might wear them outside (and dd18 months wears them all day long outside/inside, everywhere).
