We just recently returned from WDW. We have always been "in love" with the Magic Bars at the Wilderness Lodge quick service restaurant, Roaring Forks. I was wondering if there are available at any other resort and can you order them and have them sent to your home? Let me know. Thanks.

They have them at POR.

Eagle (I think that's the brand) has a kit in the baking aisle that taste similar

Aren't they really good, I love them. I think PO Riverside does have them and the Beach Club.

Oh my goodness, I agree! My DH & I LOVE these too! We go over to WL to get one each trip even if we aren't staying there. I asked the RF CM about them many years ago and they told me they make them right there at the hotel. Maybe this has changed? :confused3 I have looked for them other WDW places too, but no luck. I have tried to recreate them using the Eagle Brand recipe, even though it came close, it was still different. I cannot wait to get them on our next trip! :goodvibes

I haven't tried them at WL but I have tried them at POR this last trip. They were labeled Magic Bars there too. They were wonderful. I missed out on them on our first trip to POFQ in 2010. This year, DH was watching the Super Bowl and I brought one back to the hotel room. I left it for the day and when he didn't eat it by the time we came back the next day, I ate that one too. DH went looking for it a bit later when we had settled down to watch TV and asked about it. Oops. Sorry. I did offer to get him another one another day. We did go there again near the end of our vacation and he did get one then. They are so great. I hope someone can find the recipe and post it here for us.

Hi There-

Google "eagle brand 7 layer bars recipe" and you should find it right away. The trick is to press the crust down firmly when you make it. Then press down the other ingredients very firmly with a fork. If you don't press everything down, the bars will be crumbly. Of course, everything tastes better at Disney, but these should be darn close.

I love those bars from Roaring Forks. We ate our last one in the airport with our post-trip sadness.

Happy baking!

Here it is

Ingredients
Crisco® Original No-Stick Cooking Spray
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand® Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 cup (6 oz.) butterscotch-flavored chips
1 cup (6 oz. pkg.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 1/3 cups flaked coconut
1 cup chopped nuts
Instructions
HEAT oven 350°F. Spray 13 x 9-inch baking pan with no-stick cooking spray.
COMBINE graham cracker crumbs and butter; mix well. Press crumb mixture firmly into bottom of prepared pan. Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over crumb mixture. Layer evenly with remaining ingredients; press down firmly with fork.
BAKE 25 to 30 minutes or until lightly browned. Loosen from sides of pan while still warm; cool on wire rack. Cut into bars or diamonds.
For perfectly cut cookie bars, line entire pan with foil, extending foil over edge of pan. Coat lightly with no-stick cooking spray. After bars have baked and cooled, lift up by edges of foil to remove from pan. Cut into individual bars. princess:

Thank you, thank you, thank you. :worship::worship::worship:

I just hope with my very limited baking skills I can accomplish these. Just today I made the PB&J milkshake from the Disney Blog. I think it came out ok since I haven't tried the original.

Thank you again for the recipe.

Around here we call these Hello Dolly Bars.:rotfl: You can also add peanut butter chips and white chocolate chips to the butterscotch and chocolate chips. Makes them very very rich! My grandkids love them.

Disney sprinkles pixie dust in theirs because I have not met their equal in any ordinary 7 layer cookie...pixiedust:

They have them at Beach Club?!?!?! I shoulda got one when I was at Yacht Club in January!!!

I do know that besides Roaring Fork they have them at the Riverside Mill food court at Port Orleans- Riverside. :)

I make a trip to WL to get these too. Nice to know they have them at Riverside. Another reason to stop over during our stay at FQ next month. YEAH!
