Roadkill Gummies

Yeah, OK it sends the wrong message....
Roadkill is accidental, not intential and certainly not animal cruelty. It's not like a take my camry offraods looking for animal to run over.

I don't know why PETA is so upset about these. They are Dead!! It is so much better than eating intact, "alive" gummie bears, or animal crackers, etc. I remember when I was little feeling bad when I bit the heads off of my animal crackers.

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Besides the obvious point about the message it sends - the whole idea itself strikes me as being pointless and entirely devoid of rational thought. Roadkill jellies? What sort of mushrooms were being consumed to come up with that idea?!

My daughter thinks they are a hoot and she would rather cut of her right arm than to harm an animal. She won't even kill a bug. Sure, they are strange, but no more strange than gummy worms and bugs and stuff. Kids like them. Honestly, I don't think they send a message that cruelty to animals is good, right, or funny. It's just silly kid's stuff.

What a crazy thing for people to get all upset about. I also think it's silly kid's stuff. Gummies come in all sorts of wild, stupid colors and shapes. I doubt eating a roadkill snake gummy will make a kid think "yeah, I want to run over a real snake now".

Kids have been watching cartoons with animal characters being run over and blown up for years, like in the Roadrunner. Most get it's a joke. The Roadkill gummies are the same IMO.

::yes:: I completely agree with this statement.

I actually saw a new candy that looks exactly like pebbles. That to me is a lot more disturbing than a gummy candy shaped like road kill. A child can tell the difference between a tiny gummy candy and a real dead animal in the road, however, a child may not be able to tell the difference between the pebbles that are candy and real pebbles.

I find the concept of roadkill gummies a hoot. Stuff happens in nature.

This is coming from a snake-hater who's currently tryin' to determine whether the benefits of the southern black racer in my yard wins over him eating MY anoles! ;)

those are tasty. That's so weird that they send a bad mesage. I ate a whole bunch of them and I don't have the sudden urge to go run over animals. :confused3 Maybe they've never tasted them.

I wish more kids would go out and run over snakes. Yuck!
