Road Trip! Stop1:Inkedupmomma's wedding, Stop2:Disney-A Jan 2013 PTR

After dinner with Jenn, we'll likely spend some time in the Fantasyland expansion. I cannot tell you how excited I am for this. Even though I detest the circus, I can't want to see what they've done.

From there, it's off to the honey pots. I really like what they've done to the queue here.

You may be asking yourself how on earth I think we can get this done. Based on our past trips in the winter (Jan/Feb) it is totally possible to do....and not be in a hurry. We won't be there near President's Week and last Feb, it was amazing how much we accomplished in the time we were there.

By this time, it may be time to grab our spot for MEP. Joe and I have a few favorite spots to watch. Lately, we like watching from the steps of City Hall or near Tony's. Seems we usually get good seats.

No pics this time because I can't seem to find any of MEP! Ugh!!!

After MEP, we will either spend a bit of time in the shops or take our spot for Wishes. I've decided that I really love to see Wishes from one of two places. Either near Tony's or upstairs at the train station.

I'm cleaning house this week so I will let you know when I come across my packing list.

I cant wait to see everyone! I am looking forward to this visit SO much! Even though I live pretty close to to Disney, I'm really looking forward to going with other people. Its hard with Jon's wacky schedule to go with just Brodie and myself.

Its a bummer you wont be staying at AoA but last time I was there I was at POP and I really liked it. It's most likely where I will stay if I decide to do an overnight.

I'd probably change resorts for that big of a savings, too. Although I do hope to see the new resort sometime!

I'm almost positive that Snow White closed May 31 of this year. I can't specifically remember seeing it closed, but that was the word (and Wikipedia agrees with me). Sorry!

I saved the best for last...yours is the last thread I had to catch up on since our trip.

Plans are sounding great.

That's a lot of money for gas...but gas is so high (heard on the news today to expect higher gas bills for the furnance ).

We love Rose & Crown; although not big fans of Illuminations, it is the best seat in the house.

We've never stayed at Pop (personally, we won't stay at a value again...although I may surprise Mark with one night on our business trip in April in a Mermaid room), but for that kind of savings, I'd definitely do it.

You definitely made the right choice by switching to Pop! $600 is a lot of savings, and you are right...much less time is spent at the resort in the winter..

Thanks for subbing. I'm a little nervous about driving but after our long road trip this summer, I'm feeling better about it.

Gas prices around home are going down so I am hoping the trend continues.

Joe and I had the same thought about values. We had said that we were nt going to stay at them any longer. We changed our minds though since our longer trips will be in the winter from now on. In the winter we spend so little time at the resort that we don't really mind it.

Oooh, if you do the room for the business trip, take lots of pics!!

I've been guilted into coming back to my PTR. Hoping that all of you have not left me. Life has just been so busy lately and has gotten me sidetracked from the DIS.

I left off at the end of Day 2...EMH at MK.

I reallly love to Tomorrowland during EMH. I don't know why, but I do. I don't remember if CoP is open during EMH. If it is, I'm there. I know most peeps thing it's lame but I really do enjoy it. Really...

From there we will ride TTA. That is super relaxing and something that Joe and I enjoy doing frequently. I don't have nighttime pics but here are some that I've taken during the day in the past.

After a relaxing ride on the TTA, it will be off to Buzz. I'm hoping that I can do this again.

From there we will close the evening with ****. I so want Joe to be "that guy" once.

By this time I am sure that we will be drop dead exhausted and ready to head back to the resort for some sleep!

So here we are at Day 3. We're starting the day with breakfast with Jenn and the fam at O'hana. Joe and I have not been to O'hana for breakfast in years. We loved it the last time we were there.

After breakfast we're going to Epcot.

Our plan is to do part of WS today since it's a two park day for us. We will start in Mexico.

We never seem to spend enough time in the pavilion in Mexico. I plan to change that this trip.

Hoping that we will get to see this guy again.

After enjoying Mexico, we will head over to what we call the land of the beautiful people...Norway. Jeez, everyone in the Norway pavilion is amazingly beautiful.

We will definitely ride Maelstrom. I remember last February...there was a line out the door for Malestrom!

After Maelstrom I will likely have to hightail it out of the shops due to my allergies. The perfume actually makes me ill.

Next up is China. I have to admit that I have never spent much time there except to shop. I love all of the hair excessories and purses that they have there.

Maybe this trip we should stop and see the film.

From there we will zip on over to Germany. Joe loves this pavilion. A lot. We stop in every store while we're there...every single one of them. We usually spend a lot of time there. Depending on what time of the day it is, we may have lunch in Germany before heading over to our next stop.

Naps are great in COP when it is super hot out. But I still really enjoy it more than most I think.

So here we are at January 1, 2013 and 24 days away from the start of our vacation. I woke up this morning and made a promise to myself that I will finish this PTR, even if it is just me reading.

So excited for Jenn and Bob's weeding. I can't believe how fast the time has gone by. It's crazy.

Going through my notes now so that I can pick up where I left off. I am hoping that at I still have a reader or two to join me in this journey.

My plan right now is to leave Epcot either before or after lunch and make our way here:

If we have not had lunch, we will grab something at DHS. My guess is that I will get something from the produce market and Joe will likely get something elsewhere. We tend to prefer to just grab and go at times so that we don't have to be "somewhere" for an ADR more than once a day...twice sometimes, but mostly just once a day.

First stop will likely be the GMR. I never get tired of it.

Although I have to admit that these guys creep me out a bit.

We may stop and see Indiana Jones if the show time is soon. We saw it in 2011 though so we may skip it.


Joe loves Star Tours so we will head there next. My guess is that we will ride more than once. His goal is to experience all of the versions of the ride.

I am hoping by this time, it will be time for the Pixar Parade. I am still not sure how I feel about this one. I love, love, love the parades, but I miss the Stars ad Motocars parade. I think I like that one much better.

After tha parade I am hoping that we can move to the Muppets. While the attraction needs updating, I still love it.

If these guys are still here, we will stop and see them. My favorite cartoon is Phineas and Ferb. Joe got me the dvd box set of the Best of Perry so that I can watch it on the drive. LOL

Next, we will likely go over to TSMM. Depending on how Joe feels, he may get a GAC when we are there. If so, we will be able to do TSMM without worry since we won't get into the regular line if we have the GAC.

Next, One Man's Dream. I just love walking through here. I tend to spend a lot of time here.

After OMD, it may be time for dinner. We are doing CS again this night. Not sure where we will eat. Maybe Starring Rolls, maybe elsewhere.

Depending on the time, we may grab something quick and head over to F! since it is playing every night we are there this trip. Last year, we didn't get to see it once. I was bummed.

I don't have any pictures of F! to share with you since the last time we saw the show some moron decided to stand up every time I tried to take one and they all turned out craptastic.

We will likely save the rest of the park for our next day there. I really do want to see VOTLM, BatB, draw a character, meet some characters, etc. There is just not enough hours in a day if you ask me, especially at Disney.

Next up will be a special day for Joe and I. It is day 1 of our 2 days with Kayla and Jack. We are going to have so much fun!!!
