I visited OKW yesterday to find road paving in progress. As I approached the guard house I noticed sand...a lot of sand...all over the road. When I inquired, the guard said they were paving and the sand was put down to protect vehicles from any residue.
The work being done when I was there was on Miller's Road right at the first intersection. I don't know how much is being done (the immediate area, only Miller's Road, entire resort???), but it looked like they had a lot of equipment on site.
We're checking in Sunday. I'm keeping my fingers crossed....hoping they will be done by the time we arrive.
