Found a great offer at the riviera. Anyone that has been how would it be to go with a 2 or 1 year old? Zero entry pool? Is there a easy quick service? The other option is Caribbean beach but looks like riviera is much nicer.

I haven’t stayed there yet but the splash pad looked to be pretty good.

Yep zero entry pool. Quick service is at Primo Piatto and Bar Riva. Riviera is much much more compact that caribbean beach so u could be pretty far away from food or the main pool at caribbean beach.

Anyone been recently? Seems from reading boards there is a lot of CBR guest around the resort there, more than actual people that are staying at riveria.

If you are concerned, you cannot access the pool without a magic band that shows you are staying at Riviera. And as with any resort, the restaurants and bar can be used by anyone. We were there for a week and could not say one way or the other if people from CBR were hanging around. Everything seemed normal to me. I didn’t see anyone with a shirt that said “I’m staying at CBR”. Seeing that you were considering staying at CBR I don’t understand. Most of CBR is a long walk away.

We stayed there- it was great. But the stairway and hallways are so narrow- like single file narrow, what were they thinking??!

We were there in December - not with a toddler, but a 4yo and a double wide stroller. The zero entry pool is very nice, and the toddler play area is great too. They are in the same fenced area. The kids' pasta at primo piatto is really good. The "backyard" area with the bocce courts and between the 2 pools is also very good for toddlers.

Since we had a double wide stroller, we never used the staircase between the lobby and the back yard. But the hallways felt very wide to me. We actually had room to park our stroller in the hallway outside our room and still plenty of room to get around.

I thought someone said the pools could be shared was not sure

No, the Riviera pool is for guests staying at Riviera only. Both pools are gated and you can’t unlock the gate unless you have a magic band with Riviera reservations showing on it. There is also a sign on each gate stating the same.
