Riviera is the nicest resort I've stayed at so far

I am very impressed with the Riviera. It's by far the nicest resort. Everything feels so clean and new. The cast members are so friendly and helpful. Very impressed.

I also like Riv very much when have stayed there.
To me, it felt upscale but not a little snooty like I sometimes feel at GF when I've stayed there.

Plus I'm a Skyliner lover (own at BCV) and it's so wonderful and convenient when at Riv.

Only thing I wish was Disney made the lobby a little bigger. I always feel slightly claustrophobic when numerous people there. And while I'm complaining (ha..only kidding), I'd like a larger gift shop, but that's just me.

Riviera is my least favorite DVC resort - too many ‘newbies’… I much prefer VGF - kinda like new money vs old money…

The theme, the resort music, the food, the skyliner and all the touches of walt disney traveling through france makes it one of our favorites as well.

Probably my least favorite resort in it's category. The murals are the only reason to visit.

The do seem to go above and beyond even standard "Disney" levels to be friendly. My wife had a hand-written birthday and anniversary greeting waiting for her (I got nothin' )

Quick service spots in general don't give discounts for AP/DVC/etc its not just at Riviera.

That is strange that there is no discount at their gift shop. QS and bars do not get them at any resort, just TS restaurants, Topolino's has a discount..

Their gift shop does AP discounts.

I love it too, however I can never justify the cost for it's location. When rooms there come up higher than MK resorts, I will always pick the MK resort.

I suspect they do this because it’s still in active sales
