Riverside At Christmas

We are looking at Port Orleans Riverside for Christmas. We have never been down at Christmas before---not actually going at Christmas but when it will still be the value season-any tips for the holidays? I also read somewhere but can't remember where---anyway how can I look at my past postings and responses? In those, were the instructions on doing the countdown for your next trip, other Disney info sites etc.

Bring an extra suitcase for Christmas presents!! Walking around DTD with all the decorations really gives you the bug to buy presents!

We stayed at POR last November (T'giving time), and it was decorated beautifully for the holidays--we absolutely loved it! I'm sure you will, too!

(By the way, I don't know if you've been to WDW in early winter before, but it does get a little chilly at night...)

Regarding the countdown clock, there's a thread out there somewhere (the technical board, maybe?) that gives instructions on setting one up. Maybe try a search on "countdown clock"...

We will be at the POR for Xmas. Make time to visit all of the resorts, parks and DTD to appreciate all of the holiday decorations.

We stay at DxL every Christmas season. I think it's one of the lovliest resorts. The decorations are spectacular!! Don't forget to see Candlelight Processional. It is amazing. It will bring chills to you, whether or not the evening is cool. We'll be there from 11/25-12/10. Can't wait!!
