Rivers of Light or Star Wars fireworks show?

I am discouraged that ROL is not on the night we planned for AK, but chalked it up to "oh well". But as my trip gets closer (7 days!) I am thinking about switching it so we can see it, but I'll have to swap with Studios and Star Wars. My kids would like both... no hoppers. Which one is better overall??

Vanilla. But I get your point.

In was originally going to make my question "chocolate or vanilla" but vanilla is also a common synonym for "bland" or "colorless."

It's a toss up. Maybe go with whichever park has or doesn't have EMH if you're partaking in those or not.

I have yet to see RoL as the standby was way too long this past weekend, but I did catch the Star Wars show and it was extremely good

I'm a big Star Wars fan, so for me it's an easy decision of which is better.

I will say this though, at the end of the day. It's really nice to sit to see a show. RoL has seating.

I haven't seen either yet, but IMHO, fireworks beats a light show every time. I watched ROL on YouTube and it was underwhelming to me. It's not playing the day we will be there, so YouTube will have to suffice for now. Looking forward to SW though.

I have the same dilemma. Had originally planned to leave AK and hop to Studios to see Star Wars fireworks. But now that Rivers of Light is actually happening I'm not sure what to do. I will still probably do the fireworks as we are Star Wars fans and have only heard great things about that, whereas ROL has been getting mixed reviews
