Hi all...We got the Rivers of Light Dining Package with a dinner at Tusker House. Has anyone had experience with this? The girl I spoke with on the phone was extremely slow (took about 40 minutes to book the package) and very unknowledgeable (didn't even know Rivers of Light was in Animal Kingdom). So, I would rather ask the experts here than call back and speak to an actual Disney employee (oops ;)!). I know that you eat your meal at least 3 hours ahead of the show. But, I wasn't sure where to go for the show and which show (or can I go to either one?) we are supposed to go to. I think, if we get a choice, we'd go to the first one because we want to do rides during the second one. Or is the other way around the better option? This is our first trip to Animal Kingdom. So, I want to make sure I get all the details in order so everything is smooth. Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated! :)

Your server will give you a ticket with the return time for your show as you eat. When we did this (in May) we entered the stadium by the Finding Nemo theatre, but your servier will tell you. There was only one show the night we went so can't help you with that part.

Your server or the Tusker House staff will get you pointed in the right direction and tell you about any weather items that you may need to know.

When you get to the stadium, you pick a seat, but know that they will request that you "squeeze" together, so be aware when picking your spot.

This really helps! Thank you so much!! I'd still really like to know which showing would be better to go to.

I just booked the ROL dining package for October. When i was done and got my confirmation it told me what show time i have. I my reservation is for 4:00 and it said first showing.
If you go into your reservation page on My Disney Experience. find your dining reservation and click details it will tell you what viewing you have.

I agree with the OP regarding CMs. My neighbor and I were trying to book the ROL Dining Package for 6 people in October. We only saw tables for 4. When we called CM, she couldn't even see the openings for 4 and kept repeating things we already confirmed. Anyway, we ended up thanking her, getting 2 reservations at the same time, one for 4 and one for 2 (hoping we can combine tables when we get there) on our own.
