River Belle Terrace breakfast moved to Ranco del Zocalo?

Does anyone know if this a temporary move? I heard they are building something in the back where the old bbq restaurant used to be, and they turned River Belle Terrace into a BBQ place.

We loved eating breakfast outside watching people walk by. I hope this is temporary.

Starwars Land has claimed the old Big Thunder Ranch / BBQ area, sadly.

Yep, Rancho has taken the old breakfast menu from Riverbelle and even added some Mexican influenced breakfast options. I was initially disappointed also, because we also loved the people watching and atmosphere of Riverbelle, but Rancho turned out to be awesome as well. We enjoyed the ample shaded seating and since we sat next to Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, we had the view of happy riders returning to the station smiling and waving.

The Riverbelle has become a sit-down restaurant for Lunch and Dinner, so the breakfast, including Mickey Mouse pancakes, moved to the Rancho del Zocalo last spring. Not the same!

Yes, it moved about a year ago. Rancho is very good.

We were also disappointed when we first heard about the move, but we've had breakfast twice at Rancho del Zocalo and we were pleasantly surprised. My favorites from the River Belle menu are just as good at RdZ and my DH likes the Mexican inspired breakfast entrees. I miss seeing the River and Tom Sawyer's Island, but we sit outside and enjoy catching glimpses of Big Thunder RR and guests walking through Frontierland.

I am still annoyed that they didn't move the cinnamon roll french toast to Rancho. That was so good!

The breakfast is delicious! We love going there for a late breakfast. Just make sure you get there before they close down in preparation for lunch (around 10:30-11:00, but check to be sure).
