I'm not sure. They were going to show me "the fine print" on the check that said it was only to be used at RA, but like I said, they couldn't find it. So I don't know what the check actually said. They did say they'd had about 3 other checks deposited by other customers lately that they'd had to reverse. Anyone have a check in hand that they can read the fine print?
I have my check from June that I haven't cashed yet. On the top it says, "Use your check toward any purchase at a Rite Aid location!" However, it still looks like the regular check. I'm not sure if they all have had this on there because i have never had a problem depositing them. It has a Pay line and to: with my name and address. Not valid after 90 days. On the back of the check it is just like a regular check:
Endorse check here

OP, I think your bank is mistaken. This is just a regular check. I think that line is just a marketing suggestion to use your money at rite aid after you cash the check.
eta: the top has their bank account# , check # and date. The bottom has their routing number, account#, and check#. This looks like ALL of the other checks I've received. I would tell your bank to process it and then see if it bounces. I bet it won't.
