I had to make that awful decision of having my beautiful siamese Herbie put to sleep. It has totally broke my heart. 9 years 9 months. Rest in piece my little man.

I'm so very sorry. I'm sure you feel gutted but please take comfort in the fact that your furry little love is no longer suffering. You'll meet again someday.

So sorry to read this. We lost two dogs within six months of each other last year and it's so so painful. Treasure the memories of your little man and take comfort from the happy home you gave him.

Losing a fur-kid is hard. Even harder when you have to watch them leave.
My Maxrat Meezer died in my arms nearly 16 years ago, and I still feel guilty that I didn't do enough for him.
We had to send our little girl kitty to the Bridge last spring, and I still think I hear her bell sometimes :sad1:

Thankyou all for your kind words. Although I have other cats he was so special. Never left my side sat around my neck like a scarf been through a divorce and loss of my partner. I know he is pain free now and with his sister kiara. Will be glad when hes home so hes here in the warm with his mommy.

Thankyou for the link. Very sad and hopefully true. I do feel guilty as he had to injected in the heart because his heart was so strong. Unfortunatley the lymphoma beat him xx

My heart goes out to you, it's horrible loosing the little fluffy companions. We lost our two King Charles' within a week of each other last November and it still is raw now. I expect them to be home when I arrive from work and they're not :( It's tough, huge hugs! x

Horrible time for you, I know. My sympathies.

Pam

Sorry to read this. The photos are lovely - he was stunning. My thoughts are with you xx

Have just seen all ur replys it means a lot .I don't think we ever get over our pets passing. So sorry some of you that have lost two pets so close together. I remember when I lost my ex partner siamese kiara and my old moggie harvey in 3 months. Life seems so cruel sometimes

It's a hard and often devastating decision to have to mKe. But be glad you can because suffering is far worse. He went knowing how loved a member of the family he was. He's still there with you, you just can't see him.

My dog passed at only 5.5 - just went to sleep one afternoon and never woke up. She was my constant companion through an unpleasant divorce with cheating ex and I was bereft. Two weeks after she passed I had the call from the vets to collect her ashes (first time I'd ever done that); got back home to find the cat had been run over. Nearly lost his leg, silly old fool, but somehow survived.

Remember the happy times and be glad he was with you.

Hugs

I am so sorry. Its a dreadful time when you lose a pet or should I say a family member, as that's what they really are. You know you did your best for Herbie and you will always have lovely memories of him.:grouphug:
