How can you read a tone into typed words? I'm not going to change how I write. If my sentence structure, vocabulary, or anything else offends you or makes you feel inferior, don't read my posts.

Take my words for what they say and don't read anything into them.

Okay, I understand where you're coming from. It is sometimes hard to interpret tone from reading a typed statement. But, that's part of posting on an internet board, always the possibility of ticking someone off!

You know what, I shouldn't have flown off the handle and presumed you were doing this to spoil the fun. As I thought about it more, I have a friend in RL who constantly has to correct people and she really irritates most everyone who meets her except me (ironically enough) as I know that is just her personality. It may be yours as well...who knows. I am sorry for my previous post.

I do feel that a "tone" can be set in a post, as you can obviously tell my post wasn't sugar and spice. Be careful with the words you choose, especially when criticizing someone....which your post did whether you realize it or not. You can take my advice or tell me to shove it, that is completely up to you.

I appreciate all opinions, whether they are the same as mine or not. I'll take your advice into consideration, but I won't sugarcoat my posts to avoid possibly offending someone. I can't control what other people think of me or my posts, but I can take comfort in the fact that I know I always express myself the best I can. If other people can't give me the benefit of the doubt, they should ignore me. Ideally, I'd rather be asked what I mean by a particular comment if you don't know my intent than be jumped on for something innocent.
