Rip Ride Rockit track going up

I couldn't find the other thread so I'll start a new one and merge it later. But the track is now visible from the NY area! I'm so excited. It's shiny red with white.

That looks like the same picture I took this weekend. I have photos of them connecting the tracks. It was cool to watch them work. The roller coaster looks really long! Goes all the way from the front of the park between Hard Rock and Blue Man then all the way past Twister. Looks like the track will extend almost out of the park by Blue Man.

It actually came from hubby, who ditched me at home working while he played in the parks. When he saw that track, he was so excited that he HAD to whip out his cell phone to snap a pic.

I'm really excited about this coaster! The plans look out of this world. I'm an adrenaline junky, so I can't wait to get on and GOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! At HHN 2009. Woo-hoo!

My understanding is that once track starts going up, coasters take little time to build.

I'm sure they'll be doing interviews for opening staff soon.

I wouldn't expect it until at least summer,Manta at Sea World is coming along much faster and I wouldn't expect that one until April or May!!

I agree...since Manta doesn't have to be built around and through buildings, it shouldn't take as long.
