It seems that the couple times I went on rip ride rockit, I could literally feel my body slowly slipping out of the seat at the initial climb up to the first drop. I could feel my wallet and cellphone slipping out of my pockets while also feeling myself slip out of the seat. I am a pretty thin person (125 lbs). Has anyone else felt this happen to them? For some reason I did not feel safe one bit.

If I don't feel safe, I would avoid it.

I hate the lift hill for the very reasons you describe. It is perfectly safe, but just doesn't feel that way to me. Since the rest of the ride isn't notable enough to me to make up for the lift hill, I'm not sure I'll ride it again.

Others love the hill.

I love the hill precisely because it feels dangerous. Some serious pucker factor there.

BTW, you did hear the announcements about the cellphone in your pocket right? Can't really complain if it slips out since they warned you not to keep it there about 47 times before you board.

That said, I always keep everything in my pocket... but my pockets snap shut (cargo shorts).

You're perfectly safe. Because of the design of the restraint, the only way to fall out would be to break your legs.

First time I rode I had my cellphone and sunglasses tucked all the way down on my pockets. I got off the ride and bot my cell phone and sunglasses wee in my seat. Next time I left them with my wife..
