Although we knew it was coming, I still feel sad. He was the Robert Pattison (from Twilight) of my day. I remember my sister and I receiving the video (Dirty Dancing) one Christmas and we were so excited! It was back when having a home vcr was relatively new and my Mom bought it for us. I can also remember lining up with my girlfriend on opening night to see the movie! That was so long ago.

Did you know he was first a professional Ballet dancer before he was an actor? I never knew that till last night on the news! That would help explain why he was SUCH a great dancer in Dirty Dancing!
I remember my little cousin, when she was about 5 years old, LOVED the Hungry Eyes song from that movie (at least I think it was in that movie). At her age, she just thought that verse alone was a hillarious, "Hungry Eyes", and would SING that song and laugh all at the same time.
Yes, he WAS the Robert Pattinson of our time!

I first saw him in The outsiders, and was smitten.
As a teenager, I had the pleasure of meeting him, as I was an extra in Youngblood, which he was in with Rob Lowe.
He was so nice in person.
