Not much of a movie goer or TV movie guy here, but his roles as Piccolo in Brian's Song and Sonny in The Godfather are both extremely memorable. And his bit part at the end of The Godfather II. I don't recall any of his many other roles. RIP.

OMGosh, his role in Brian Song. I cried pretty hard when I saw that the first time. Recently saw the God Father in the theater. I really enjoyed him in those roles, and others he's been in over the years. Rest in Peace

I actually just watched that episode the other day. I am working my way through all 10 seasons again. RIP Mr Caan

Seen him in so many things!
The earliest appearance I've seen was a rerun of The Hitchcock Hour, where he played a writer infiltrating a gang for book material. A gang led by Walter Koenig, Star Trek's Chekov.
