Ringing in 2010, 6 months til we'll be back again

Wow! There is exactly a month difference between Bella and Toby - Toby was born May 5th!!!

I am just starting to organise his birthday party. I think we'll do a Playhouse Disney theme - Mickey Mouse Clubhouse or Handy Manny - one of them!

I'm very nervous about making his cake!!!

Will Bella have a Disney birthday??? xxx

Hey! great updates! I have been absent for awhile and trying to catch up on everyone's TRs and PTRs. I would not worry about Bella. I am a physician and if her doctor felt her condition was serious, it would not have been delayed even if she was not one year old. I will keep her in my prayers also. keep the great updates coming. I am miserably cold in East Tennessee and cannot wait until May!!

I told him to semi-plan on a 8:45 meet in front of Tony's - right before your ADR. You guys can communicate further as it gets closer. Jamie's mom had already seen our plans and had told her about it, so she knows, too. You'll be looking for a small blonde girl and a boy who looks like he eats a lot. And he does.

You are going to have a great Disney trip!

I'll definitely text him as it gets closer and we have a clearer idea of our plans. We can definitely count on being in MK at the same time! My mom mentioned something to my dad about meeting Trent, and he naturally said something about the glasses. She asked him to please refrain, because if we're just meeting someone quickly for the first time, its best not to horrify them. We're used to them and they still scare us a little!

We're leaving for Hartford soon! I'll probably check in later on. I've heard some planes flying overhead, so I'm taking that as a really good sign.

Bella will be a year old on the 5th of April.

Awww, my (little) Rachel's birthday is April 3. That year she was born on a Wednesday, and Easter was the following Sunday. This year again, Easter is falling during her birthday weekend!

If you went to Disney World more often, you'd be broke, like me.

DH likes to joke that we can never get ahead because we give any extra money we happen to come into to Disney!

It brings us closer to God today, as we anticipate the best but are, of course, braced for anything that might be less than pleasant. These times are hard on us emotionally, but good for us spiritually. If everything always went well, we would lose our faith, hope, trust, and reliance on God.

This reminds me of the Bible verse that we are to "rejoice in our tribulations." It makes us grow stronger and grow closer to God. I have been praying for Bella, and I'm THRILLED to get back on your report here to see that the appointment went well!

I will continue to pray for her and her upcoming surgery.

And it may have already been said, but I just saw links to where you guys will be seeing a 'new' parade this summer when you go It's one of my favorites and I remember watching it as a child. I will DEFINITELY want to see LOTS of pics girls!!!!!! I will definitely not be able to go this summer

MeMom and Jill, I know you are relieved to hear that Bella's issue is normal.
I'm sure she will do fine with surgery. I know that no matter how common or normal something is when it comes to our babies and grandbabies we still worry. Just watch her stitches. When Sarah was a baby she had to have 5 stitches in her chin. By bedtime that night she had already pull all but one stitch out.

You know we have several babies on here that was born within a month of each other. How neat is that. Ty has many Disney friends he just doen't know it yet. lol

I haven't made ADR's yet. I have to get my bunch together this weekend and see what everyone wants. If noone speaks up then I will just make the ADR's and they will have to like what I pick. We will only do a few. We will mostly do counter service. I don't know what the hours will be yet . I know we want to do MNSSHP. Plus, I am bound and determined to see the parade at AK. I have never seen it and I wanted to in November, but it didn't happnen.

I'll tell you a secret......shhh don't tell anyone, but I may be taking a solo trip before October.
Nobody here can go with me, so I may take a long weekend and go alone. If airfare comes down enough.

I was thinking of you guys earlier! We were all absolutely starving when we got to the hotel, and I had been asking about Cracker Barrel because I've been dying for it. There ended up being one about ten minutes away from our hotel, so we went there. I got some apple dumpling thing for dessert and it was delicious, but huge! Kailyn helped me eat it and we couldn't finish it at all. I wish there were more Cracker Barrels near me; I think the nearest one is like 30-45 minutes away from us.

Catching up as usual. The videos made me get misty eyed!!! I just love how excited Brooklynn is to meet Snow White and Tiana and Naveen. Such great shots from Trent....love them all!!!! Prayers for Bella and I agree with your wise statements!!!

Great news about Bella! I was thinking about her yesterday while I was at work.

My boss has put a stop on using the office computer to surf the web....does he not know I need to see what my DIS friends are up to.....while I'm on break ofcourse.

He actually said " no Disney anymore"

Okay I have to add that we got a virus from somewhere and the IT people had to spend all morning fixing the problem. They suggested we not go on the internet for personal stuff. (I personally don't think going on the DIS caused the problem.)

I won't argue, I need my job so I can pay for Disney!

I see Tinkerbell will make an apearance.

A solo trip will be awesome. I'd love to go down there just to take pictures sometime. I'd have no agenda other than just to take pictures. I think that would be very enjoyable for a day or two.

Some of these Disney babies will meet eventually. Ty is doing great with his walking. His 'ride' is great!

We mostly do counter service, too, but we really try to be creative with that and do a lot of resort CS meals and things other than burgers. We spread out 2-3-4 table service meals over the course of a long trip.

I always get chicken and dumplings at CB. I never eat there unless Jill is here, even though there is one about five minutes from my house.

I love having the videos. Brooklynn was thrilled to meet Tiana She had had a Tiana Christmas with all kinds of P&F things from Santa and others.

Those are Drew's pictures. Trent is not into picture-taking at all. When he used to go on ball trips to fun places, I'd send a disposable camera with him, and he'd never take it out of the suitcase!

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it wasn't the DIS that gave it a virus! No telling what people might have been looking at, though. At school, they have tons of stuff blocked, but I'm glad I can check in on my Disney friends when my kids are at special activities. I promise, I do get my school work done.

Hi MeMom and gang! Just checking in and trying to catch up...it's been a busy week here!
Those Tiana pictures and videos were wonderful and even more wonderful is the good news about Bella!
Tomorrow is Friday!

Friiiiidaaay! We have a half day and then conferences. We'll take a Spelling test, decorate Valentine bags, hand out cards and have goodies, and just let them do centers. We have brunch on half days. It'll be a short day with kids, but a long afternoon. I hope some of the parents I need to talk to show up!

I fix chicken and dumplings at home about 2-3 times a year - usually during Thanksgiving or Christmas break and then a couple of times randomly through the year. Jill and I love them, but the boys would just rather have chicken fixed another way. Good down-home cooking - chicken and dumplings, green beans, fresh corn, fried apples, cornbread....there's a reason why I am more than pleasingly plump!
