Actually, it's not the tryout yet, but a clinic that runs all week before the tryout. First of all, I can't believe he is entering high school. Where'd the time go? I remember him starting soccer as a 6 year old---they were all so cute chasing the ball, not passing to each other, etc. He always had that competitive nature and I can remember him as an 8 year old storming off the field mad that they lost. Ohhhh, so many lessons taugh between that time and now. He's much better at losing now, but once in awhile reverts back to that little boy. Anyway, he's really good at soccer, although baseball is his love. We encouraged him to try out for soccer, even though he thinks he's not good enough for a high school team. I think today will be a deciding factor after he sees the other kids firsthand. He really could use a confidence boost.:(
Thanks for listening......I'm here alone feeling a little anxious for him.

Good luck to your son! :Pinkbounc :bounce:

My son's loves soccer also. He plays on the U15 team and will be in HS next year. They grow up fast, don't they. :(

Let us know how he does.

Thanks, guys! I'll post later and let you know how Day One went.

Crossing our fingers for your son! Hope it all goes well! Time really does fly....
