I hope this is not a dumb questions, but...
I realize we cannot take car seats on the bus so do we ride with the children on our laps? I have not ridden a bus since I have had kids! Do busses have seat belts? Some of the posts mention taking an hour to get from here to there & I do not relish the thought of having a child on top of me when I am already sweaty!!

Yes, the infant will have to sit on your lap. We went to WDW when DD was about 6 mos. and we had to hold her. There are no seatbealts. We went the end of June/beginning of July when it is very hot. I took a baby sling and used that alot. The busses are air conditioned, so it wasn't too bad.

Yes, the baby will sit on your lap, and yes it can be a bit uncomfortable when you're hot and sweaty and tired! Also, be prepared for the possibility that at busy times the buses will be very crowded and you may have to stand with the baby unless someone will give up their seat for you (which doesn't happen as often as you might think, especially at the end of the day when people are tired and grumpy) or if you're willing to wait for the next bus. On the other hand, the buses are air conditioned and it's so nice to not have to get into a blazing hot car out in the parking lot! :sunny: :sunny: :sunny:
