Ridiculously early Fantasmic dinner pkg. times

I have read on these boards before of folks getting really early ADRs when booking a Fantasmic package, but has anyone ever gotten one as early as 3:50 p.m.??? I figured they would still be serving lunch at that hour!

I called this morning (my 90-day mark for arrival), and was told the latest time they had for HBD was this mid-afternoon time, and earlier. Of course, I reserved it, because my DH is so set on HBD ( I wanted to try H&V this time, but he would have whined the whole time ). My CM (who was very sweet, by the way) seemed very apologetic, and suggested that I call again closer to my travel time...maybe something else would open up. Has anyone else had success doing this? Especially during high season?

Also, does anyone know if they offer the Fantasmic dinner package for late shows? The CM told me no, and it's not that I don't believe her, but I never heard that before. Can anyone confirm this?

I called to see if we could move our 4:10 pm FDP time at H & V and was told they only booked FDP for that date (Oct 7th) until 4:30 pm , so it wasn't likely we could get any later. She said that they only had a 30 minute window to book 4-4:30 pm. I called again 2 days ago to see if I could get any other info from another CM and got a similar answer.

Later times should open up as your trip gets closer. We have usually had luck about 3 weeks in advance.

I believe there have been reports here of dates in October extending the times recently. I would definitely try again closer to yur trip.

I am leaving in 2 days for Disney and had been trying to change my Oct 2nd 4:10 FDP time at MM for weeks. Finally I called on sunday and they had a 4:50 so I took it...still a little earlier than we wanted but much better than 4:10...also my mother was trying to just book for 2 people on same day and was told for weeks it was sold out and on sunday she got a 4:40 and she is going the same day I am.

I booked H&V fdp for Oct 7 and got the 4:15 time... and then lots of posts on this board that finally later Oct times were released, I called yesterday and got a 5:30pm for an 8pm Fantasmic show!!

I called on Sept. 18 for an ADR at HBD for Dec. 19. I wanted 5 p.m. The only time I could get was 3:50 p.m. I'll try calling again in late November.

Same thing happened to me. I had a 4:10 for Oct 1st and when I read on this board that they had opened more times, I called and was able to get 5:50 and that was for 8 people!

Like others have said, keep calling right up to your trip.

I just called and got my 10/6 H&V at 4:10 changed to 5:50 for 5 people. The CM said there were several slots after my original time available so I took the latest time which will still get me to Fantasmic on time.

woohoo! Thanks to this board...I kept trying, and got what I wanted!

A few months ago, I made my ADR at HBD for the FDP. For Oct 12th. All I could get was 3:50!!!

So, for the past few weeks, I would try evrey few days. Well, just this morning I got 5 pm! Yay!!! Fantasmic is at 7:30 on Oct 12, so I hope that will give me plenty of time.

Oh, and to answer your other question...Yes...i have heard that the FDP is only available for the first show.
