OK,I'm not trying to say that because I have cancer I should get a free pass.
But this school work is making me angry.

I only have 3 classes a day,each lasting 1 1/2 hours long in school.
Of course,my tutor won't stick around that long,so he drops of work,collects what I've finished,and helps me with some.
I currently have English 1,Algebra 1,and World Cultures work.
I haven't been able to keep up with it all because the fact I've either been in the hospital,getting chemo,or lying in bed puking all day 90% of the time.
Me,DISing instead of schoolwork,no way!

I have about 7 chapters in WC,11 pages of Algebra that I don't understand and neither does the tutor,so he asks the teacher and he takes forever to reply,and I have FOUR books plus packets and quizzes in English.
Of Mice and Men,Julius Caesar,Lord of the Flies,and Kissing Doorknobs.

I'm fuming because I have all this work,it's due soon,and my teachers are telling me 'We need this done NOW!'
Like wth? I'm sick,I don't have the time to do all of this work,can I get a little slack please?
I'm in grade 9 and NOT in honors classes.
Arg,I need a magical homework fairy to do all my work.

I've completed all of those classes with high averages. I'm probably more available too. You can always PM me if you need help. It sounds like you need a better tutor if you're tutor can't understand algebra I.

Wow your tutor sounds like he's as much use as a chocolate teapot. I'd offer to help you out but i'm a grade below you and on a totally different cirriculum you know being british and all.
Have you said anything about it to your parents?

But anyway, I think your teacher's will give you a little slack if you explain to them that your tutor stinks and everything.

Like Sparx said, I'm here too. I can help with the math if you ever need it. I've never read those books, though, so I won't be able to help you there.

See,this is the screwed up part.
He's not a tutor!
My school is so fudged up they can't 'afford' tutors for their homebound program,which is how students who have medical disabilities or are suspended for quite a while learn from.
So,they send an email out to the teachers,doesn't matter what subject they teach,tell them they'll pay them extra if they go out,give a kid their HW,and collect everything.
My problem is math and he's a social studies teacher.
Arggg.
