Random question of the day - if I do takeout from TE and get the chicken with a side of fries, will they give me lots of ketchup packets? Or, do I need to buy some when we stop at the Publix on our way in?

Leslie

(see - I told you it was ridiculous!)

Pretty sure they'll give you as much ketchup as you can carry. ;)

But if your girls are like my daughter, you'll have bite and finger fatigue due to the tiny amounts in each pack. :rotfl2:

Maybe ask them for a container of ketchup ? one of those small 1/2 cup styrofoam ones with a lid.

Just ask and you SHALL RECEIVE ... don't be bashful :lmao: The only problem here is what you are willing to ask for :rotfl:

I'd also be willing to bet you can get a bottle of ketchup at one of the trading posts. Shouldn't be too outrageously expensive. ;)

Thanks, guys! I knew y'all would have all the answers.

When I got the Giddyap N Go in December, I asked for ketchup and got about 75 packets. We had MANY extras. So my girls and I cut holes in them and used a slingshot to launch them at people as they were looping at night. Loads of fun watching the packets explode as they hit people.

Yes, I'm kidding.

I would like to defer you to a can of "Cheez Wiz" at the trading post that cost $7.25,,:rotfl2:

Wouldn't wnna know what a bottle of ketchup cost, :scared1:

Leslie,

When we checked in about 8pm the week of Thanksgiving we got a Giddyap & Go first thing before we popped up the trailer. We have a ketchup fiend in the family and we asked for some and received plenty. Actually it was pretty good for us (we got one family G&G and one single G&G based on our group size). So you should be fine.

Me, myself, I prefer the Tobasco on my fries.

Youch... forgot about that.

I take it back. Ketchup may cost you a night's stay. :rolleyes1

btw OP.... no such thing as ridiculous questions here. However I will guarantee you PLENTY of ridiculous answers. :dance3:

You and my DH would get along just fine. He uses Frank's Hot Sauce on just about everything but ice cream. So much so, that he even tried to cajole me into carrying a small bottle of Frank's in my purse. If only the dear man realized that all it would have taken to convince me was about a 2 carat diamond ring (set in platinum, of course)! :lmao:

fries,,you need a pile of mayo and a pile of ketchup,,you dip first in the mayo and then in the ketchup,,ALWAYS in that order or you ruin the fries,
mmmmmmmm:thumbsup2

Hey, maybe they will get those new containers from Heinz. They look like those little sweet 'n sour containers you get with McNuggets at the Golden Arches.

DH sounds like a cool guy.

Sometimes when I camp on short over-the-weekend trips to the beach, etc. I have been known to liberate some condiment packages at Chick Filet or McD. Keeps me from having to buy the condiments just for the weekend (if I leave in a hurry and don't pack them in a cooler).

I don't know if this would work for the OP (maybe flying in and taking ME) but if driving that's an option too.
