Ridiculous Question on rates/dates

I know, I know, it's ridiculous, but when do you think I would be able to book a room only reservation for February of 2006 ? I'd like to splurge a little, as a surprise for DH and DS, and want it to be a complete surprise. DH will know that we are going to WDW, but not that we will be staying at either the Poly, Contemp or WL.

I'm pretty sure you can book up to two years in advance, but the rate you would be quoted now would be this year's rack rate, and when they put the rates out for 2006, your rate will change to reflect the new rates. Does that make sense?

Hi!

Seeing that 2005 room only rates became available in late May 2004, I would assume that 2006 rates will not be available to book until May/June of 2005. Historically, those are the two months that the next years' rates are released. You might be able to book now for 2006, but they will tell you that the rate will change.

Anyhow, happy planning! You have lots of time to read these boards and dream of your upcoming trip. The time will pass fast enough. Part of the fun is in the planning/dreaming stages.
