Hey everyone. Im going to Orlando for the first time in the Summer and have booked both island of adventure and universal studios. Could you recommend any rides at these parks? I keep hearing about the hulk, spider man, dueling dragons, shrek.. but any more we should definately visit?

With the exception of Barney, we love to do them all. If you only have 1 day then you would have to pick and choose. What do you like to do? How old will the people in your party be? Do you like coasters or shows? All these questions would better help us give you some suggestions. Mummy, MIB, Spidey, Hulk and DD are my fav's

T2 show imo is great and a must see. I could do MIB all day long also, its a lot of fun.

We are only spending one day at each park. I was having a look at the website and as two adults visiting the parks, are the rides at Toon Lagoon and Seuss Landing worth visiting as I haven't heard much about them? Is it because they are orientated around children?

And what else is worth visiting at universal studios apart from revenge of the mummy, shrek, t2, twister, simpsons, jaws and universal horror make up show?

The water rides in Toon Lagoon are famous or should I say imfamous for a total soaking so if you're looking for that kind of experience, go for it. Popeye & Bluto's Bilge-Rat Barges and Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls are two of the best water rides around. I like the rides in Seuss Landing. One Fish, Two Fish is a lot of fun even for adults as is Cat in the Hat and The High in The Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride is a nice relaxing tour of Seuss Landing. I think you should definately take time to check those two islands out.

At the Studios, don't forget to check out the Lucy Tribute and the Animal Actors show...both are nice for a short break from the heat.

DH and I went last fall and had a great time riding the rides in Suess Landing. You should never deny your inner child. It keeps you young.

And personally, the rides in Toon Lagoon are not to be missed. Popeye is the best river ride I've ever been on. Caution you WILL get wet.

I have to agree, the last time we went my DH was so excited to get his picture taken with Dudley Do Right and of course since my camera failed at that exact moment I still haven't lived it down. Well I get to redeem myself this trip and we really enjoy Toon Lagoon and Dr. Suess.
