I've just booked us a last minute trip leaving on 25 May to be at Disney for my 40th birthday. This will be our first trip as a family of 5 and our 3 month old baby's maiden trip!! Can anyone help me with logistics of rides with 5 please. Do you always have to do child swap? I'm thinking about Buzz Lightyear ride or Toy Story Mania. My other kids are 6 and 3. So what are our options? Will they let 6 year old on to sit alone then DH with 3 year old and me with baby? Or can't baby go on? I'm confused. TIA

I'd be interested to hear the options aswell. As we will be taking our new arrival in July who will only be 10 weeks.

Although my DD is 8 and goes on everything she is tall enough for (not something I can say). I was planning on sitting most things out.

when i went last i was pregnant wiht the twins and i went on toy story and a couple when on with a tiny baby so i would say buzz you would be fine as tsm jerks around a bit more than buzz

Oh just to say my 6 year old is very tall - he is taller than his 8 year old friend. Hecan go on most rides but could he go alone?

when DS was 6 weeks old i took him on TTA repeatedly while DH was off with DD (who was 2 years old then)....

i don't think there was buzz lightyear then, rather the ride that preceded it...(if you had wings)...so i don't know about riding buzz...

i can't remember what we rode....
i'm guessing small world.....

as long as the ride has no height restriction baby can ride. For rides like Buzz etc, you can have baby in your arms and have your 6 yr old beside you, your dh can ride in another seat with your 3 yr old, or vice versa.

On buzz you will be fine with the baby on lap and then an older one beside you or if you didnt ride then oh could take 2 little ones on as the seats are wide but they wouldnt be able to have a gun each but one could have the gun and the lo in the middle could spin the car. it might be a good idea to get a sling for the littlest one and then you would have you hands free. dd when on TSM on my lap when she was 5 months and was fine but it made it very hard to play the ride but it would mean you wouldnt have to do baby swap to get both the older ones on - although it is fairly jumpy so i would hold on tight! You will find alot of things you would get on with on adult and the 2 older ones or one adult and one child each with the bubba in a sling or on your lap. Have fun
