We are thinking about taking our 1 year to WDW for her 1st B-day in Oct. We have been 4 times in the last 4 years so we know the place pretty well. What I dont know is the place with a 1 year old. Is there a list somewhere of the rides she would be able to go on? I realize the obvious just not sure about the others. Rides like jungle boat cruise, peter pan, small world etc. Thanks for any help on this!:thumbsup2

my 1.5 yr old LOVED "It's a Small World" in MK, Peter Pans flight in MK, Snow White ride in MK, also Toy Story Mania in DHS, Little Mermaid show in DHS, we took her to Story of America or whatever it is called in Epcot and she took a nice little nap in dark theater :) Kiliminjaro Safari in AK, and we did the Bugs life show in AK but I wouldn't recommend it, she kept crying with all the loud noises, same thing with Mickey' Philharmagic in MK, cried with the loud popping sounds. Hope this helps!

When are daughter was 1 she seemed to like Pirates as well as Aladdin's Magic Carpet Ride.

We took our daughter to WDW last month to celebrate her 1st birthday. We didn't have any problems with her on any of the rides or shows. She seemed to really like the Winnie the Pooh ride, it's a small world and Peter Pan. We tried to show her some cartoons and movies prior to our visit to help her recognize characters and songs. We also took her to Country Bear Jamboree (she slept through it), the Tiki Room (again she slept through it), Carousel of Progress (you got it..she slept through it) and Mickey's Philharmagic.. Now that one she didn't sleep through at all. We play lots of Disney music in our house and she was giggling at songs she knew. Of course she wouldn't keep the glasses on at all, but she knew certain characters voices. :)

It was actually much easier to take her on rides than my husband and I were expecting. She was really good! Most rides she just slept right through. And the ones she didn't, she was pointing at things. Oh! And I definitely agree with NOT going to It's Tough to be a Bug. I love that show, but it's REALLY loud in there and some of it can be a little scary for little guys.

I'm sure you will have a great trip! :goodvibes

Hi there... I actually took my daughter for the first time to WDW around that age and we rode everything where there were no restrictions. She enjoyed all of it with one of her favorites being Pirates. I agree with Honeyjar about It's Tough to be a Bug, that was the one thing my daughter did not like. They shoot air on you and it started her crying really bad and we had to leave. There was just a bit much going on in there for her. I hope you guys have a great trip! :goodvibes
