Congrats!!! Thats fab news!!

I'd imagine you'll be okay on most of the slower rides (Like Small World, etc).... My knowledge in this area is limited though, but I'm sure someone else will be able to help!

My wife is currently 16 weeks pregnant and will be 20 weeks when we go in October. My basic list of ride are as follows:

In the Main Park:

Disneyland Railroad
Main Street Motors
The Castle
Phantom Mannor
Pitates of the Carribbean (although this features drops so this one would be personal preference)
All rides in Fantasyland
Buzz Lightyear's Laser Blast
Honey I shrunk the Audience
Discoveryland Rockets

In the Studios:

All films/shows
Tram Tours
Armageddon
Cars Rally (although I haven't been on it so I'm not 100%
Flying Carpets over Agrabah

cheers guys thats great, being one for the rides, i have to say i am a little disappointed, my DH thinks it's hilarious!!!! never mind i'm really looking forward to our trip and this time will look at the details of disney much more than previous trip.

I think it's called 'Sod's Law'

My best friend and his wife were having difficulty having a baby, I suggested that they plan a trip to DLRP as she had neve been and really wanted to go, three weeks after booking it they found out she was pregnant!

We found out that my wife was pregnant two days after getting confirmation of our trip.

I think that its the Disney :wizard:

Goodness...hope its not catching!!

I'll remeber it for the future though!

On one of our trips to DLRP a couple of years ago my friend was pregnant but didn't yet know......as Princess Lucy now approaches her 4th birthday and races though life like a hurricane, completely fearless we often look at her and say to our friend "and she's like that because you went on Big Thunder Mountain 3 times in a row when you were pregnant"!

Congratulations to you and just take it steady on the rides. Cars race rally is rather a jerky movement - bit like the teacups so if you don't fancy them steer clear of Cars too.

Congratulations to you both!:goodvibes

congratulations  I would recommend the travel sick bands for the sickness, they are the only thing that worked for me after weeks of throwing up morning, noon and night. We went when I was pregnant and I made the mistake of going on Big Thunder Mountain, I thought it would be ok but part way through I really regretted going on. I think I spent hours on POTC and PM :)

I agree  lol

Congratulations! :grouphug:

Thank you all very much. I'm finding it less scary the second time although when Kacee cavorts around the house I sometimes think that we must be mad going through it all again!

Congratulations!!

We went to DLP last year when I was about 17 weeks pregnant. Went on all the rides Cap'nJack mentioned. (Cars is fine.)

You'll probably find that Casey Jnr and POTC are suddenly much scarier and more thrilling than ever before - i did!!

I know its not the same going to Disney and not going on the big rides - but its worth it. We are just back from our last trip and our 6 month old baby boy loved it!! Have got some gorgeous photos of him with the characters in the park - loads of them fuss over babies!

Have a great trip and hope the rest of your pregnancy goes smoothly!

Julie

P.S. It is easier with baby number 2!!!
