Hi all!

Not sure if any of you remember me but I was the lady that cancelled my August 2013 trip bc I was being listed for a second lung transplant. I had said if I survived the first thing I'd do is def go to DW..and here I am! Received my 2nd set of lungs on my 12th anniversary of my first set (5/24)!!! Of course I was on my death bed, ventilated, sedated, and trached so the whole things a blur..

Anyhow, I'm just wondering for those of you that get dizzy/ uncomfortable easily, which rides do you avoid. I know I can't tolerate anything that spins, and I think it might be best to skip mission space..but what else??

Thanks in advance for helping me not ruin a disney day!!

Susy

Congratulations!!!

You may want to avoid Expedition Everest (doesn't bother me, but made a friend with an inner ear disorder so dizzy she needed help walking out of the ride) and Toy Story Midway Mania (the ride vehicles don't spin all the way around, but you get tossed around as they turn partly around at a good speed). Definitely avoid Mission: SPACE for the spinning! I haven't ever tried the non-spinning version of it. I can't think of what else, but of course ask your doc about any restrictions before you go.

I am so happy that you are getting to go to WDW.
I will try to think of some of the ride that may spin if no one else beats me to in. The ones listed above I would defiantly avoid. You may also want to skip the teacups. Even though you have the option not to spin your individual cup, the whole platform spins.

Space Mountain really jerks my neck and head around. I was on the verge of a migraine for a while after my last ride, and kind of figured it might be my last.

i absolutely love the non-spinning side of mission space (and i have a severe motion sickness problem).....
however, if you have a problem with very small spaces, then skip it.

Wow ...I didn't realize there's a non spinning option for mission space. I do have to ask my doctor about roller coasters. Teacups are definitely a no go...my husband can ride with my daughter alone on that one!! Eek...just thinking about it makes me whoozy ! Thanks everyone! So excited ! :cheer2:
