Is there a current list somewhere of rides that have an accessible vehicle where wheelchairs can roll on that do not require the user to transfer? While my kiddo is small and easy to transfer, leaving his wheelchair behind also means leaving his equipment behind which is more difficult. A link to a list that is current for all 4 WDW parks would be totally awesome!

The ones I can think of off the top of my head is

At the MK
JC
IASW
Pooh ( my friends power chair was too big and he hit the side enough trying to get in it knocked it off enough that it shout down the ride and they had to walk everyone off).
The little Mermaid
Buzz
Not sure but maybe dumbo and the carousel

At EPCOT
Lliving with the land
Sea with Nemo and friends
Journey into imagination
The Mexico boat ride

HS
TSM

Ak

The Safari

Most show too if not all

Might have missed some

A few additions to Sue's FAQ list....

Prince Charming's Regal Carrousel at MK - has a ramp that you can use to access the carousel so you can stay in wheelchair. It should be in blue on the FAQ list.
Frozen Ride in Epcot - you need to transfer onto the ride.
New Toy Story Land rides - Alien Swirling Saucers and Slinky Dog Dash you need to transfer onto the ride.

For us, the few rides we make the attempt to transfer my dd onto a ride are Alien Swirling Saucers, Pirates of Caribbean, Frozen, Navi River Journey and we transfered once onto Haunted Mansion. We can squish her in between us on all those rides (she is 5ft tall). Soarin is another one and it is awesome because she has her own seat and it has a strap that goes between the legs so she can't slide through (my dd needs alot of support and this one is fine with us holding her arms).

We always find lots to do even though my dd can't transfer for the big rides, there are so many rides with wheelchair cars. We were really bummed when Navi didn't have a wheelchair boat though. They really dropped the ball on that one.

Have fun!

Thank you for this. I know Small World allowed my son to remain in his chair. But some of the wording about transferring to provided wheelchair confused me and I was concerned since since last trip years ago. The link above says that is only for ECV, which makes more sense! We still had an issue on Nemo because of the size of the chair, but the CMs were so great at trying.

Do you think that SOME of the rides would let a SMALL FOLDABLE powerchair like this one on? (It can be flipped into manual mode real easily and only weighs 50 lbs.) Or would it still be a no go?

Power wheelchairs are generally treated for the most part the same as manual wheelchairs. If you are able to switch to a manual wheelchair if needed, they do have manual wheelchairs available at attractions.
Pirates is the only attraction I’m aware of that has pretty much never allowed power devices in line, even though manual wheelchairs can go in line (not including those with separate entrances/lines because their line is not accessible).
There are some others that have instituted restrictions off and on - usually after some incident (looking at you Haunted Mansion and Tower of Terror!)

There are some weight and size restrictions - the size of the wheelchair space is 30 inches wide by 48 inches long, according to the ADA requirements.

My daughter’s manual wheelchair is 26 inches wide and about 42 inches long. (Almost 48 including her backpack).
The armrest height is 28 inches from the ground and the top of the push handles are just a bit over 39 inches tall. (She has a power wheelchair, but we have not brought it to WDW).
She has used all of the wheelchair accessible ride cars with her manual chair with no problem.

The tightest ones are Buzz Lightyear at MK, Magic Carpets at MK; Journey Into Imagination at Epcot, Nemo at Epcot; Triceraptor Spin at AK, Safari at AK; Toy Story Mania at Hollywood Studio.

Length in general is tighter than width, but we have had no problem with her wheelchair fitting. Multiple times the CM at Aladdin’s Magic Carpets thinks it won’t fit, but it does.
