Rides suitable for 5 yr old

I thought it was generally accepted that adults join the kids on all rides :rotfl2:
I see having a 5 year old as a great excuse for riding Dumbo, Teacups etc. without feeling

my dd is 4 and will go on everything apart from space mountain, Indiana Jones, and Rock n roller coaster. she has not been on BTM yet as she was not tall enough so hopefully this time.

My son is 5, and I can't think of any ride that I would let him ride alone, without an adult to accompany. Maybe if he had an older sibling, then I would think about letting them on the rides where I could see them together like Caroussel, teacups, dumbo etc..

Anyway, why should I miss out on the fun?!.....

That said, if you are asking about suitability, my DS will go on all rides now, apart from Space Mountain and Indy because he's too short. It all depends on the level of daredevil your child has! If he/she's a bit timid, you would best start off in Fantasyland where there is nothing really scary, working up via Casey Jnr, perhaps Pirates, Phantom Manor, and eventually reaching BTM possibly. Just my thoughts. :goodvibes

I agree.

I saw a sign at Dumbo that children below a certain age had to be accompagnied by an adult. I can not remember the exact wording but it was something like: children 7 years or younger or children below the age of 7 are not allowed to ride without adult supervision.
