Hiya,

Has anyone found any rides that ''legally'' are suitable for a 7 year old child (as in they are the right height and age etc) but found once they were on it that it was unsuitable either because of the noise or frightening etc??

My little girl has grown up so much since our last visit when she was 5 years old so expecting her to want to ride different rides this year......but she went on the Armageddon special effects one when she was 5 and was terrified...................

However

She now loves scarey things, rollercoasters etc etc.........

There is nothing I would not class as child friendly it just depends on the child.

If she has already ridden rollercoasters and is fearless she will be fine. Space Mountain and RNR are rollercaosters in the dark and loop the loop.

Is there anything she is apprehensive about ie dark, noise?

My DD is 9 but did Rock n Roll Coaster when she was 7 - she hated it.

She also did Crush when she was 7 and hated that as well.

She loves BTM and would ride it over and over but hates any coasters that go upside down.

She did TOT last year when she was 8 and enjoyed it but says she doesnt want to do it again - Im still working on her with that one to get her to do it again and think she may try it next time

my nine year old has just tried the bigger rides for the first time this year. She was desperate to go on tower of terror and nagged for three days, but was soon cured when she went on it, doesnt want to do it again. She loved big thunder mountain tho, and orbitron too. We never got to do crush as it closed after we queued for half an hour, and i wouldnt have done space mountain or rock n roller coaster or the indiana jones. Dont forget pirates of the caribbean too(but it is dark) and phantom manor didnt go down too well with my daughter either

My youngest ( 7 next month) loves tower of terror, startours and crush ,that make me feel a bit queasy! lol

It really all depends on the child

At 7 i think you can give all / most of them a go !

xx

well, with my ds1 being tall, he can get on most rides @ 1.2m tall so we took him on rock n roller - which he loves - says its his fav lol

we also took him on tot which i think the pre ride bit scared him more, but am hopin to take both ds1 & ds2 on it and explain more to ds1 about it not being real!!!

they both love btm too, and i know ds2 wud love r n r but hes def too small lol

i think it all depends on the child, and be prepared to give it a go - the worst can be that they cry, but let the child decide!
