I've searched everywhere for more detail about the rides and have even watched some YouTube videos but for so many it's a bit difficult to tell what's happening.
My mother walks with a cane and will be using a wheelchair for our trip, but she can walk (slowly) onto rides and step into most of them. She struggled with the Buzz Lightyear ride at Disney because you have to walk onto the car while the sidewalk is moving. But once she's on something like that ride, teacups, Pirates of the Caribbean, etc. she's perfectly fine. Things like that are impossible to know unless you're standing in front of the ride or can see the entry from the end of the queue. She can't do rollercoasters or big drops, but small drops or VR (like Soarin) are ok.

My question is - knowing these basic limitations do you think she'd be best avoiding any of these rides?
Minion Mayhem
Shrek 4D
Men in Black
Escape from Gringotts
HP Forbidden Journey
Skull Island: Reign of Kong

Thanks! I'd hate to stand in line for 45 minutes only to find out she can't ride, or worse wait that long without her and then discover it was simple to board and ride.

Avoid:
Escape from Gringotts
HP Forbidden Journey

No Idea about Skull

Others should be ok. minion and shrek aren't "rides" but VR shows/movies, although minions is a VR roller coaster. If she's done simpsons she'll be fine.

She will be fine on Kong, Shrek, Minions, Terminater, Race though New York and ET.

Make sure to have lunch at Mytho's and a meal at Toothesome Chocolate Emporium. They are both are yummy.

Thank you!
Toothesome Chocolate Emporium? That'll be a definite. We have to fit in both Three Broomsticks but love other recommendations!

My 88 year old mother rode Gringott's when we were there two years ago. She also walks with a cane and toured the parks with me pushing her in a wheelchair.

You are a wonderful child. Pushing a wheelchair all day isn't easy. I'm sure she appreciates you.

Damo it is so nice you and your mom and kids can do the park together

Hope you have another family trip planned soon

Was just there last week and I saw a party with a wheelchair in Gringotts. There is a special elevator to get you to the loading platform instead of steps. (similar in style to Mummy)

Forbidden Journey does have the moving walkway so that may prove difficult but I have seen wheelchair parties loading in.

Men in black: not a moving platform but not certain how you do a wheelchair party since there are steps to get down (I've seen an elevator)

Jimmy Fallon- easy to get in and out

King Kong: its a similar ride vehicle to a tram but I don't remember a moving walkway.

And she was also chosen in the Ollivander's show. I have to admit that I was teary eyed through that whole experience!!!

Oh my goodness, I can imagine!! How lovely though.........

Forbidden Journey also has a special stationary and stair-free loading area for those in a wheelchair. The whole party can go that route and ride together.
