Rides for infants?

What rides can lap babies go on? Is there a website that has all this info? I can't seem to find it. We're not sure what parks we're going to as we have too many on our list - Universal, Islands of Adventure, Magic Kindgom, Epcot, MGM, Animal Kingdom, and Sea world.

If a ride has a baby swap, do they tell you that before you get in line?

We have a 2.5 month old baby and a 3 year old. We plan to do the rides in accordance with what our 3 year old can do. (He's quite tall, so there's plenty of rides for him at every park).

If you go to the Height requirements calculator page and put in your dc's height, it will show you all the rides she or he can't go on. The shortest height req is 35" (Barnstormer, in Toon Town). You can bring your infant on any ride or attraction that does not have a height limitation listed.

We went to Universal/IOA with our ds as a toddler and honestly I didn't think there was a lot we could do there. We spent a lot of time split up (especially at IOA) while one person rode the ride so the other could watch ds. I personally didn't have that great a time doing that, so we won't be going back there until ds is old enough to appreciate it more. The Suess Landing area was cute though. jmho. We haven't been to Sea World so I can't comment on that.

Baby swap: There is always a CM at the entrance to every ride. Ask them for a baby swap pass. Each ride can work a little differently so they will tell you what to do. Usually one adult waits with the baby/toddler while the rest of the party gets in the regular standby line. When they get off the ride, the adults switch places and the one that didn't go the first time can usually take up to two other people to ride the ride again. You can also combine fast pass with baby swap if you plan ahead. For instance, get your FP's then when the allotted time arrives, ask the cm for a baby swap but instead of everyone in the first party waiting in the standby line, they can use their FP's and go in the fastpass line. This minimizes the wait times for everyone. I hope that makes sense!

Thanks for the link. Great idea about using the fast pass and baby swap. I didn't know you could do both. Someone told me it was faster to use fast passes instead of baby swap - but your idea makes sense. Our son is 41" so there is a lot he can go on. We'll probably do IOA and Universal the same day if there isn't enough at IOA.

It's good to know that another rider can go again. That way, our son can ride twice and make it easier for the person watching the baby.

Thanks for the info. I didn't realize there's a baby swap pass. I thought we'd just both wait in line and I'd wait with ds until dh was due to get off the ride and I'd hand over the baby and then I'd go.

So we get our pass at the entrance to the line, then I do not get in line? If I understand you right, then I send dh to wait in line. Then when he comes out the exit and I hand off the baby, then what do I do to avoid the line? I think I'd rather wait in line with my husband. Is that not do-able?

Luckily, my son is just over 4 feet tall, so isn't much he can't ride - Thank Goodness.

We, too, plan to work the FP and Child Swap. I'm guessing that my son will get to ride several rides twice this way.
