Rider switch?

Does anyone know how rider switch works now with the fast passes tied to your pass?

Does anyone know how rider switch works now with the fast passes tied to your pass?

I read recently somewhere that they MAY let that go SOMEDAY. Wouldn't it just be like a single rider WITH a fast pass?
Way back in the early 90's with my older son it was great cuz there was NO FP back then and my husband and I switched off /on the ride immediately!
I don't think they could possibly know so maybe you would still have to inform the CM on whatever ride you want to use it for.

Elsewhere on this board (can't find it right now) we got a report that it works just the same way it did before -- with a physical lanyard. It may change any time, but for now it sounds like it's the same.

Not all rides give a lanyard for rider switch. Some give you fast-pass-like tickets.

Yes with rider switch BUT if there is no OFFICIAL notice just take what I mentioned with a grain of salt or ignore it cuz that would be sad for a lot of parents with small children ! I hope they choose to keep it. It really is so helpful !!
