I'm currently in an argument over how rider switch works with my DVP and I want to make sure I am correct. I'm sorry if this has been asked before.
We are going to WDW March 4th. Our FPs were all booked until half our party had to drop out of the trip yesterday. So now it is just my husband, our 2.5 y/o daughter, and myself. My husband has never been to Disney and I haven't been in 10 years so we really don't want to skip all the big rides that our daughter can't ride.
So to get to the point here, regarding fast passes and rider switch.. if I get a FP for a ride, then we request a rider switch, can my husband use the rider switch pass without needing a FP? Or does he also need a FP to go through the FP line?
I understood the policy as only the first group riding needs the FP. My DVP is saying we both do. But if we both get a FP then we wouldn't even need the rider switch pass, right?
Thank you for your input, I'm so frustrated because she is refusing to make the FP requests I have given her because she doesn't agree with me.
